PRODECOMP (PROjection DECOMPosition) is a software tool for decomposition of 2D projections of high-dimensional NMR spectra to a set of components (defined in turn by one-dimensional "shapes"). Simultaneous analysis of projections from one or several high-dimensional experiments provide unambigous chemical shifts for large spin systems. The latter can be used for backbone and side-chain assignments as well as structural studies of proteins (Malmodin and Billeter 2005; 2006; Staykova et al. 2008a,b).
The following extended Graphical User Interface (menu bar) incorporates PRODECOMP and some other tools, in particular SHABBA (SHape Analysis for BackBone Assignment), that facilitate the data flow from input projections to components and beyond to the backbone assignment via analysis of the component "shapes".

PRODECOMP and SHABBA are free software released under the GNU/GPL License and can be downloaded using the link above. Note that this version requires Linux. If you have questions please contact Martin - for email address, please refer to the People page. If you register as you download this software, we will keep you updated on future development.
The following link may be used to download a (older) version of PRODECOMP that corresponds exactly to the description in (Staykova et al. 2008b). Note that this version runs under both Linux and Windows, but that the newer version above includes additional features (e.g. automatic runs of many intervals...).
